Belfast Schools Cross Country Championships

The annual Belfast Cross Country Championships return in February, March and April 2024.
Who can take part?

There will be four races on the day of the events.

One P6 boy’s race, one P6 girl’s race, one P7 boy’s race and one P7 girl’s race.

Each school can enter teams of up to eight athletes per race, as well as reserves.

Race venues and dates

There are four regional heats which are held at parks throughout Belfast.

Primary schools can enter into their heat and have the chance to qualify for the Belfast Final.

It is important for all schools to arrive at your heat for 10am on the day. We would also like to ask that the schools that will be attending the Belfast Final could stay for the medal and trophy presentation so that photographs can be taken.
