Coach education

  • Coach education courses

We run regular courses to support Belfast-based sports coaches and volunteers with their training and development.

Our Coach Education programme is designed to support the development of coaches at all levels through a wide range of accredited coaching badges and specialist workshops. The programme covers essential areas such as Safeguarding and Child Protection and Physical Literacy, while also exploring important and emerging topics including Sports Medicine and Nutrition for the Female Athlete, Autism in Sport, Disability in Sport, Nutrition, and Sports Injuries.

This diverse offering ensures that coaches not only gain recognised qualifications but also deepen their understanding of how to create safe, inclusive, and effective sporting environments.

All courses are available to book online on a first come, first served basis, giving coaches across Belfast the opportunity to enhance their skills and knowledge while contributing to the growth of sport in the city.
